Medro, sometimes people say things they don't necessarily mean 100% <ok>

    It's an ambition...

Unachievable - yeah. Nothing wrong with showing ambition tho.

All Celtic need is £20 million - and the top 20 clubs in europe to die in a plane crash.

Clue: Lennon may not actually think Celtic are gonna win the CL.

Don't spread it though, cos i'm not sure it's true, just heard <ok>

What lennon said was it was his ambition to win champions league...

He was then asked if Celtic could do it.

He responded (**** me, shock horror, he answered a question) by saying IF Celtic could make the champions league groups stages each year (and built on the squad then it's a possibility). He was citing Porto and Monaco's final as an example of underdogs making the final.

He never said it would be immediate. More in the long term...

Realistic - no but is it wrong to set ambitions?

    It's not hard to understand.

You never know... it may sink in eventually. Person speaks to media and answesr questions with ambitions citing reasonable examples! It's hardly rocket science...

Nah, he's not interested in anything anyone says apart from what people who agree with his views think.

I know he's not always serious but he never commits to an argument, he words his threads carefully so he can always claim he meant something else entirely.

He never used to be like that, but since Reb gave him the bitch slapping of his life he's became adept at tiptoeing around serious subjects.
