So we finish the season and much like our beloved Sunderland it went out with a whimper..no-one scooped the guest fixture and top dogs this week are JDSAFC, me, Gordon Armstrong and Rooch with a rank average 6 each. The man we all need to doff our collective caps to is Gil T…he shows us all how to be consistent. He romped home with 1 point and consolidated his place at the foot of the table. Gil..we look for better next season.
The race for 2nd place proved an anticlimax as Gordon Armstrong and I cancelled each other out and finished as joint runners up, but it was a good contest.
Meanwhile there is one house where champagne is flowing, Dancing girls dancing, party poppers being popped and a certain SAFCDRUM is glowing in the knowledge that he is our 2018/2019 Champion. Well done mate, fully deserved.
It's been a fun season on the prediction league as we all had no fecking clue about league 1..obviously apart from Drum.
One note of thanks goes to Gordon Armstrong who kept me right on numerous occasions. For someone who makes a living from my commercial expertise, I seemingly cannot add up 14 scores correctly. So thank you Gordon…My defence as always is Gin and Tonic.
