Looks like 46 points [Rossi's number, which pleases me], and my best opinion of Saints to finish in 10th.

That would be my last resort. I want us safe with at least 1 match to go as I am leaving on holiday for the Stoke game. Can you imagine travelling wondering if the fact my son hasn't called is good news because he is celebrating or bad news because he doesn't want to upset me? We need 11-13 points to be safe (probably)...must be able to get that before the Stoke game:steam:
 
43-46 and with a positive GD.

I think we could hit this target with a couple of matches to spare and so we could actually get more but only if we dont go off the boil after hitting the magic safety target.

If we've got a positive GD at the end of the season, we'll either have battered a couple of sides by 4+ in an otherwise unspectacular sequence of results, or we'll have more than 46 points. I think and hope the latter is more likely, but expect GD to remain negative.

The most popular two options are the only two possible outcomes now. I still think that 39-42, which I predicted, will be our final total and think that 41 should be enough for safety.
