Wow, tonight's games have stuck us in the mud somewhat. Remaining games and possible permutations

Accrington Stanley:
51 points
Plymouth Argyle
Portsmouth

Rochdale:
51 points
Southend
Charlton Athletic

Bristol Rovers:
50 points
Fleetwood
Barnsley

Shrewsbury:
50 points
Coventry City - aiming for playoffs
Walsall - fighting relegation

Wycombe Wanderers:
50 points
AFC Wimbledon -fighting relegation
Fleetwood

Southend United:
47 points
Rochdale
Sunderland United - winning auto place/top playoff

Plymouth Argyle:
47 points
Accrington Stanley
Scunthorpe United

AFC Wimbledon:
46 points
Wycombe Wanderers - need to secure league position
Bradford City

Scunthorpe United:
46 points
Bradford City
Plymouth Argyle

Argyle play Scunthorpe, so only one of those can maximise points and get above us.

Wimbledon and Scunthorpe both play Bradford.

Scunthorpe and Wimbledon both need to win both games to pass us. If they do Southend need four points for safety.
Shrewsbury need a win for definite safety, but a point would help us stop Southend going above us.

I think that's correct, point out any mistakes!

i get brain freeze with all the variables.we only have ourselfs to blame for this. we are in a position of looking over our shoulder and hope teams mess up.
i really dont know with this inconsistent team how they will play.

Of course additional to theses permutations, every other team plays in Saturday, so there may well be extra pressure on Shrewsbury to beat Coventry...

Wow what a set of results! We're safe now thankfully and haven''t kicked a ball.

Really hope Plymouth pull off the win needed next game and send scunny down. We'll do our best to rattle Walsall for you!

You are already ok despite the maths. We on the other hand..................
i hope your team can turn it around crucially can your manager get them to recover from todays hammering; , with your poor goal difference you need a win . southend would need to do something special to get something from sunderland but Scunthorpe will hope to get a win so a nerve wreaking last game. i hope you stay up

so pressure off for the coventry game , will Ricketts field an attacking team and go for it or stick with what he picked for the last few games.,

Ricketts will play safe I reckon. Trouble is that incites pressure which caused the devastation in Monday!

you would hope the team play for pride and battle for a point , if go with negative tactics and play deep we will get punished.

I will be one of the 1000+ hoping the good Shrewsbury team turn up. Coventry do not have a very realistic chance of the play-offs now but it is difficult to know how that will affect them. As for next Saturday, what a mouth-watering opportunity to send Walsall down (and hopefully do Plymouth a favour for Greeny's sake - he is a true supporter and a gentleman).
