Reckon we'll get seventh.
Two facts support this: 1. we don't get first prize in whatever league competition we're in, including mini leagues; 2. I don't think we can beat City with Gazzaniga in goal. We may score, despite Joe Hart's immense current form, but we will also concede.

A negative view, but as far as I know KD was going to be playing in the City game for sentimental reasons.

Slightly better chances then, but both points still apply. I'm not saying we'll lose btw, just don't think we will win. Another strikeforce maybe, but not City's.

Would indeed be great, though, if we could somehow make our GD count against those two joke teams above us. Would take a 0-0 draw if it matched or bettered Spurs' result. I think it would give RK a better chance of getting Manager of the Season if we finished 5th, and believe the other teams should bow down and acknowledge the importance of thus ushering us through to 5th with their results.

I'm conflicted. If we don't get 6th, i hope Villa win the FA cup. The fixture congestion playing from the 3rd round of the Europa would come back to haunt us. Saying that though, with the so called 'exodus', would be fantastic to end the season above Liverpool.

Difficult call......Heart wants to say 5th ........but brain saying 6th/7th. While I would like to see Saints beat City and I agree we could as we have the capability. Reality kicks in.......the best we can get is probably a draw. I can see Spurs getting beat.....so all I can say is....what ever the result Saints have had a bloody good season.

If it happens, play the kids - the entire U21 team I mean... Priceless experience, and they won the cup after all!

If it happens, it is obvious from Ron's comments that he would be very pleased and that he would take it very seriously indeed. I bet Katharina's checking her handbag as we speak for a few mills for the extra players needed. Let others take it lightly...better chance for us.

Everton are definitely on a roll and now this Stirling business being made public. It's not looking good for our two adversories.

If....IF we can do the hard part and beat City, then I would be surprised and slightly annoyed if we were to remain in 7th

That's what makes it so frustrating that it is out of our own hands...we were that close to 5th and 6th outright. Luckily for us, we weren't the only team that started to lose unexpectedly....keep it up Liverpool and Spurs....you know you don't want it/deserve it.
