Final Games Thread And Poll

I said earlier that if we didn't lose more than 1 and draw more than 1 we would get automatic promotion. Today was a day to be proud to be a GASHEAD the team kept on plugging away against a G/K who was determined to make life tough for us and the supporters kept up a level of noise in support of the team. Congratulations to the management, staff and players on their promotion to league 1.
It also makes the held price of the season ticket a very good deal, have a good Summer Gasheads see you next season

What an amazing climax to the season. Excellent performance by the lads, never gave up despite a resilient effort from Dagenham who incidentally, didn't look much like a Conference side. Superb noise and support all around the ground, even though everyone's nervousness showed through on occasions. With 35 or 36 shots during the game, the winner was richly deserved, and just reward for not giving up. Accrington must have thought they were home and dry with only a few minutes to go, then we burst their bubble and now they have the torment of the play - offs to deal with. It may seem harsh to Accy but I feel that they have been punching above their weight for months now so its worked out correctly in my opinion. Really pleased we can relax for the rest of May now and start planning for life in League 1. Well done everyone, a huge team effort.

I was in there somewhere. Took me flipping ages to get served. But what a laugh we all had. We literally closed the road! It was great.

Can you remember that Accrington goal against Wimbledon when they scored but the ref blew up for half time and that goal didnt count. That game ended in a 0-0 draw. If that goal was allowed to stand..... Not worth thinking about now is it
