Final 3 games....

I am not one to moan, but why are the Saints games not being moved all over the place ?

Ourselves, Leicester & Leeds have all got days changed or kick off times moved. Both Saturday games for the Saints are 3 pm KO !

Sky thought they were out of it. Who saw all three at the top stuttering three matchdays in a row?

I doubt Hirst will be up to speed for several games. Next season he will be brill in the Prem!

We’ve got three matches in a week and Al Hamadi is carrying an injury. If he only comes in for half an hour on Tuesday to give Moore and Al Hamadi a rest he will have a big impact.

Even if he doesn’t play, it’s a massive boost to the squad to have him involved again.

Its a tough ask but as has been said already i think two draws and a win could be enough, both Leeds and Leicester have to play Southampton who are the best footballing side ive seen at PR this season even though we did the double over them and i cant see Saints losing both of those games, and i think its quite possible they will win one of them, exciting times for us having qualified for the playoffs already.

I will feel a lot more comfortable if I see some points getting dropped over the weekend games.

Agreed, every point dropped by Leeds and Leicester lowers our target providing we dont drop points ourselves.

The stressful thing about all this is the psychological element. Ordinarily it’s black and white - you want Ipswich to win and rivals - especially Norwich - to lose.

I’ve found myself wanting Norwich to get something out of their games against rivals. I don’t know if I want Southampton to pick up points to stay interested and not rest players against Leeds or if I want them to lose so they can’t catch us. I don’t know if we will take the foot off our pedal if we are still ahead against Hull or if needing to win every game will force us to fight. If that’s me as a supporter, Kieran has a real job to do to keep the players’ heads settled, but at least he doesn’t have owners in his ear about financial ruin if we don’t get promoted.

The sooner that Hull game comes round the better!

Three Cup Finals,we've got to go all out to win each one.

Hearing KMc speak after his award it's apparent he encourages the players to leave nothing on the pitch and have no regrets-barring the things outside their control (poor reffing decisions, unstoppable deflections etc).

Like you Yorkie,I'm finding the break leading up to the Hull game unbearable!

COYB!!!

It would be a big psychogical boost if we go to Hull and get a win, stay top and the others have more difficult games to come.

Pressure will mount!

I had hoped that Southampton would be able to get a draw against Leicester and possibly Leeds, but after an abject performance last night i dont expect them to try very hard at Leeds, i think they will want to keep their players fit and focused for the playoffs.
