I mentioned it because I remember our (losing) FA Cup semi final to Spurs back in the early 80s - as we walked to the ground we passed a pub with a good 100 Rangers fans sitting outside and clapping us whilst chanting 'we are, we are the Glasgow Rangers' stopped for a beer and a chat - they'd come from Corby to support us - because Jock Wallace was our manager ...

Corby has a massive Scottish influence due to Stewart and Lloyds opening a Steelworks there in the 50s and sending much of their Scottish workforce down to run it.

I actually worked in the Stewart and Lloyds Seemless tube plant in Mossend. By then it was British steel and now it is just a big hole in the ground. I should think the Corby plant is much the same.

Halfway through season 4 of stranger things and it’s okay but I really don’t get the massive hype tbh

Was Getting walking dead vibes by season 3 but I’ll stick with it now it’s done and see how it ends
 
Haunted Hotel - animated adult comedy on Netflix from some of the Rick & Morty guys. It's great, prefer it to Solar Opposites.

Can’t do adult cartoons bar the odd manga style anime ones, blue eye samurai was the last one i watched and that was brilliant , never watched the simpsons or family guy or south park for example
 
Finished stranger things

Wasn’t bad was hoping it would go into the science a little more deeply tbh but some very likable characters Dustin being my favorite

Decent ending too I thought 7/10

I'm the opposite tbh, never got into manga/anime and "serious" cartoons like that. Love The Simpsons and South Park, but Family Guy is hit and miss, some episodes are great, some are terrible. Rick & Morty is better than all of them, but much more intense and zany, so not for everyone.

Song Sung Blue

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson absolutely kill it in this movie. Both are incredible acting and singing. Heartwarming and tearjerking in equal measure.

Just a great wee movie.

P.S. Soundtrack of the year as well.
