Wouldn’t be able to tell you a single film that won an Oscar that was remotely memorable for years.
To be honest tv has turned to **** and so has the film industry.
dune 2 was the last film I really enjoyed.
I like big sci fi fantasies or harrowing war films. Spy type stuff.
they don’t seem to make mind bending thrillers anymore either.

They were very good. I loved the original as well.
weird laser weapons and mind control nothing not to like.
Last 2 that stick in the mind for me - Dances With Wolves and the last of the LOTR films - particularly the former...
