Wrapped up Yellowstone, 9.3 for the whole 5 seasons. Taylor Sheridan really is a don, think I have to accept the fact I’m a fanboy of his.
What a ****ing show though. Everything about it was nailed on quality; the stories, the scenery and the casting was legit perfect. The spin-offs have all been either good or great so far too. A shame it’s over but I’d much prefer shows to end on a high than drag on and on to the point it declines.
Lioness season 2 - 8.1
Better than the first season for me (probably a 7.2). Not that I know anything about covert ops but it feels realistic. Another of Taylor Sheridan’s shows too so not a surprise it’s decent.

Gladiator 2 - 6.3
Tries rehashing the original a little then adds eccentric camp nonsense with the emperors, a senator and even Denzel. Some of the CGI is ****e too. None of the characters are endearing either and I can’t mention one of the things that really pissed me off without spoiling it for those that ain’t seen it.
It probably would’ve been decent enough if it were a standalone film but it isn’t and it’s put a dent into the original’s legacy now. Didn’t need a sequel and that’s why.

Got my girls home today - youngest from Uni for Christmas etc - they've decided to have a 'Twilightathon' ' now into the third film and I've drunk so much wine that I'm actually now enjoying the experience - not least because the soundtrack music is absolutely banging!

I was well into it and there are a couple of superb episodes driving my thinking at the time. Finished now though and it's 8.8/10 for me.

Did not give it a 10, it was a consideration at a point in the series. I loved the novel and thought the series was a great representation of it. Unfortunately it peaked at about episode 4 and drifted a little towards the end. Very good though.
