Find Me Falling on Netflix - case of missus wanting to watch 'something light' Romcom - despite initial unenthusiastic anticipation, was surprisingly OK - no more than a 7 ... but if you want some brownie points with the better half ... mire than tolerable <laugh>

The Iron Claw

Do you like WWE?

If so this one is for you.

A pretty good biopic about the cursed Von Erich family of wrestlers from the 70s/80s.

Sac Efron takes the lead and the guy has obviously put some work in for the roll.

Good story, alright acting.

Confession...

Looking for something on Netflix last night and the missus / daughters came across a relatively old Ryan Reynolds comedy, Just Friends - initial reaction was 'do we have to?' - but bowed to majority rule ... have to admit I laughed out loud a few times - the guy is a very good comic actor - 8/10 (probably a bit generous but the interplay between him and his 'younger brother' was very funny) ...

Great movie, will keep this guys theory in mind when i watch it again

Liar

Stuck this on last night when I saw the cast list of it.

From 1997 and stars Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Michael Rooker, Rene Zellweger, Rosanna Arquette and Ellen Burnstyn.

Top quality cast I'm sure you'll agree. Unfortunately the plot doesn't live up to the calibre of the players although it is beautifully shot. The Cinematographer does a fine job to create a pretty paranoid atmosphere. It all makes for an interesting wee film.

It all gets a bit silly in the final third tbh.

Bad boys, ride or die

I really went into this with little hope of a decent movie. Especially after their last outing which I thought was...well...not great.

This one is definitely better than that and it's 100% better than BHC4. Surprisingly it's Martin Lawerance that makes it decent.

Will Smith seems to be morphing into his Spitting image puppet right before our eyes and he does an OK job here, not overly annoying.

Some very funny moments from a very OTT script and plot but that's what these movies are all about I suppose.

If you've got a couple of hours to park your brain you could do worse.

Bad Boys 4 - 7

It’s standard Bad Boys really. Comedy/ action, you know what you’re getting but it’s still a decent watch as always. Just hope they don’t over-do it now, probably got one more film in them and then call the series quits.

Thick I'll give it a miss after BHC4
