The current Planet of the Apes franchise are all excellent and David Lynch is a genius.

That's is all.

The first 3 Planet of the apes all score over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes but they are rubbish. Trrible is correct and the rest of the world are wrong.

Eraserhead
The Elephant man
Wild at Heart
Blue Velvet
Twin peaks
Mulholland drive

All genius!

Say what you like about Rab C but he did talk a lot of sense. Just like Frank from Shameless and completely the opposite of Trrible from Not606.

Oh give over, Lynch is not a genius. That sort of category is reserved for the elite, which he certainly is not.

The bloke disappears up his own arsehole with most of the guff he comes out with. Funnily enough, much like Aldo.

And all the sequels of the Apes reboot are unimaginative pish. The next one looks to be a rip off of a 70's sequel, so once again unimaginative pish. I'm guessing Aldi has Andy Serkis dressed as Caesar in his ****bank so he's taking all of this rather personally.

Happy to help <ok>

He'll tell us anthroplogically it's impossible.

Coming from a bloke who surrounds himself with West Ham fans every weekend it's very short sighted.
I can suspend my disbelief just fine, Prometheus goes far beyond the point of ridiculous that it's an unfunny parody long before the squid baby, it's pretty much an eye roll moment every time one of the 'best in their field' scientist does anything at all.

Perhaps his stuff is just that wee bit complicated for you mate. Too ground breaking. Perhaps you just don't get it.

As for the planet of the apes reboot that you don't seem to like and feel the sequels are "unimaginative pish" I really don't understand your claims there. The third film is arguably the best of the lot. Perhaps their just a wee bit complicated for you mate. Too ground breaking. Perhaps you just don't get them.

Most other people do though so...

I really can't understand why the director who's first film was Eraserhead and his second the Elephant man can't be considered a genius.

He deserves geniusship for Wild at Heart alone ffs.

Fences

Watched this again last night and it just keeps getting better with every viewing. This is acting and dialogue from the gods. The whole cast do an excellent job but Viola Davis is just superb.

You look at a film like this and you wonder how any cùnt can claim there are no good films getting made anymore. This film would grace any decade.

9/10

Gassed up.

Big fùcking cliche innit!

5/10
