Just a thought but every Monster in every horror film is based on centuries old legends mixed with current living creatures who do not eat or breed as we do

Well that explains why John Hurt was looking perfectly fine until he started coughing his guts up during supper. He had been robbed of all his protein.

It's an alien, it's not of this world. It's a totally different kind of life form. It doesn't adhere to our Planets laws of nature, biology and yes Ern, even physics.

THAT IS THE WHOLE BASIS THAT EVERY ALIEN FILM EVER MADE IS BASED ON.

That is why the company want to capture it in the first place and that is why Ripley wants to wipe it out.

It's really not rocket science tbph.

How have I been schooled? Not a single one of you has been able to refute a single criticism other than "it eats air" which ignores that it is a biological being created with human DNA, it's lifecycle in the other movies, and the lack of negative air pressure when the door opens. You've all ignored the plethora of eye-roll scenes in the movie, which happen when any character in the film makes a decision, which are all utterly ****ing ******ed down to the last scene where, instead of taking 2 or 3 steps to the side to avoid being crushed by the rolling spaceship, they run in it's direct path.
It's pretty, yes, and it has a great score, but the plot is laughable, only people with the intelligence of the characters in this movie think it's good, and they're borderline ******s.

and you haven't schooled anyone on this site ever, even aber had a better success rate than you.

You've made an utter cùnt of yourself. You slated a movie for something that happened in every previous movie that led up to that movie. You then came out with some shìte about it being wrong because it doesn't tally with the "first law of thermodynamics" in a vain bid to look intelligent.

You even slagged Luv for being to dumb to understand such a concept.

I did have a couple of issues with Prometheus and Alien Covenant

The Androids in those films were far more advanced and intelligent than the ones in Alien and Aliens but were thousands of years before them

Also the planet was almost an untarnished Earth but in Alien and Aliens it was uninhabitable, but apart from that they were pure escapism that you could switch off from our present reality and be absorbed in the films and enjoy them for what they are

Are you sure mate? In Alien they come out of hypersleep because of a distress signal. The distress signal is deliberate to lure spaceships to the site.

Also the engineer is still sitting in the "pilot seat" in Alien when they find it whereas in Prometheus he leaves it after the crash to go after the woman.

And there were no Alien eggs in the Prometheus ship.

It's the Ship that Shaw and David escape in that's the one in Alien.

That's because of the organism released by the Engineer that relies on more life, so in Covenant the planet is already dying, no birds or wildlife. It's terrible writing with just a scene of a few minutes explaining it.
