Id had a few beers but i was fully into it. Good start.

Was wondering if youd see any familiar faces from thw films and yes yes you do albeit younger versions of them.

Not sure on that but it kicks off during large scale battles from the original war with sauron, before the rings of power are made i believe.

Im pretty sure gandalf comes from space as a meteor, im sure its gandalf anyway

Started watching Maid (Netflix) last night.

Quite promising actually. Only watched one, and haven't bothered tonight, but will stick with it.

Also started series 2 of The Capture.

I liked the first series of The Capture haven't seen the second. Didn't expect there to be one.
 
I'm looking forward to watching See How They Run. Looks like Knives Out but with a real hint of Grand Budapest Hotel about it.

Canon says Sauron was only revealed as an enemy when he made the one ring, before that he was considered a friend.
