You just need to look at Francis's daughter's filmography to see that.
That's why he changed it. People kept talking about his family when he auditioned.
He wanted to make his own way and not rely on nepotism.

I've never actually watched it, but I hear completely opposing viewpoints on that film all the time. A lot of people love it and a lot of people hate it.

Aye basically every character is involved/connected to virtually every major event, even the kids. Plus the two dickheads going around killing ppl.

Wasn't even an original plot and just plodded along with no tension at all.
