Saturday night fever anyone?![]()
I saw the making of that about a year ago.
It was as good as the film itself.
I then went out and bought a white suit.
Apart from the obvious? The Wire, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Mare of Easttown, Queen's GambitFinished the Sopranos, ****ing loved it. Strange ending but having thought about it, I get it.
Any other recommendations for box set classics that I should have a go at?
Squid Game was super watching, midnight Mass a torrid slow dirge.Squid Game
Midnight Mass

Actually I owe you an apology, generally your film choices are akin to my own. I rewatched the series and I can see your point. Much better after a slow start and agree with your G vB synopsis all in all quite compelling but for me Squid game was more superior.Aye Midnight Mass is slow to get going but by episode 3 it picks up.
MM is very clever. Those who thought it would just be a creepy horror series may be disappointed but I don't think everyone gets what they're doing there.
They're twisting the idea of blind faith, turning it on its head to show how dark fundamentalism can become, where you can no longer see good from evil. It was brilliant imo but it's not going to be for everyone I get it.

Queen and Slim on Netflix, cracking film. @Treble
Just seen No time to die . Probably 30 minutes to long , and a couple of blurred scenes which I find really poor , but yes it was good . Will probably see it again at the big screen .
