I watched those so many times as a kid, new years day or xmas times it was always on in an afternoon.

Absolutely loved them too

Life mate, and many of the films mentioned on here

Last two nights i have watched some old B&W films on Talking Pictures, have come to the conclusion that actors/actresses years ago were far better than anything we have today. No SFX to flash it up just pure acting to make you believe.
