I've just watched the last film I'm going to watch... IT the next chapter in which IT comes back every 27 years the ****ing film felt like it lasted 27 years to be brutally honest.

I haven't seen a good film in about 20 years.

seriously am I the only person that feels like this
No, you are not. And here's why.
Films are just books for people with no imagination.
Never been a Film made that was as good as the book it was based on, no matter how "good" the Film.. If you think there has been, then you have no imagination.
A book makes you to cast, produce, direct , be cameraman and edit the story, all in your own head. And no one on earth can do it better.
A Film has someone else do all the work for you so you don't have to think for yourself. It might be a "good" Film, but you could do it better.
Anyone can make a "good" Film, bugger all people can write a good book.
Originating the idea is the only real creative talent. Filmakers just go along for the ride, and are interchangeable at any time with thousands of other Filmmakers for the same result.
There's a great Film saying, You can't make Chicken Pie out of Chicken ****, meaning you can't make a "great" Film without a great script. Start ,finish and end of contest.

Don't believe me? Read Catch 22 and make the film in your head, because it never has been and never will be made into a watchableFilm.

^^^^This is far too long a post. He should have just written, im a dick and saved us all the hassle of reading through all that nonsensical shìt.

Yes only the 3 ... but there is another bad ass Leone / Morricione western that needs a mention, Once Upon A Time In The West... if you have never seen that you are in for a real treat. Epic intro, first film where each major character has their own score, only film where Henry Fonda plays a bad man (and what a performance) and Bronson and that ****ing harmonica!

The chimes in For A Few Dollars more are a brilliant touch.

Spurly already mentioned The Outlaw Josey Wales ... but going back even older for classic Westerns there is The Searchers ... and even further back High Noon.

<cheers>
Once Upon a Time in America <ok>

I've been watching 'The 100', I'm not really sure why though. It's thoroughly ridiculous, normally I'd've dumped it long ago for it's constant inconsistencies and hilarious science.
