Middle daughter went to see Parasite last night ... says it 8s 'insane' ... in a good way ... probably not for some on here if it's got subtitles mind ... can see Comm & Sucky screaming at the screen because the words keep disappearing before they've finished reading <whistle>

Saw it the other day.

I like to see things more literal than metaphorical. Entertaining enough but i didn't like the last third. I like to read up on films afterwards to see the deeper meanings and what I've missed.

Its got artistic shots but all in all definitely not Oscar worthy. 6.75 on my rating

Dont mind subtitled films at all tbh, la haine and city of god are two of my favourite movies

Bit of movie trivia for you ... did you know that Libby and Peter Crouch both played Naavi extras in the film Avatar? No CGI needed just painted the lanky ****ers blue. Think Libby might have played a gal ... but he'll have to confirm that <cheers>

I saw The Ring on a long haul flight to America without sound on the tiny screen a few inches from my face
I had no trouble following the plot but right at the end when she crawled through the TV felt like she was crawling through to me, scariest thing I have seen for a long long time
I saw in back in England on full sized TV with sound and no where near the same effect

Watched the Ring in Bangkok but it was a whole different genre. <whistle>
