I've watched loads of films with drugs use and never used them. But then I don't let films shape my life. They're only acting after all.

good because now I know never to listen to one of your film suggestions … it doesn't mean you don't like the films but it means I don't
True. As I've looked at films to see which side I fall on there has been a massive improvement and I feel that's the same for a lot of things, I like this modern world.

well I don't agree but we can only both be right when it comes to what we like mate.

this aldo arsehole seems to think he knows what I like more than I do ffs … he can like whatever he wants as much as he wants but it doesn't mean I will suddenly dislike what I like in favour of his.

I agree but always watch Forest Gump with a box of chocolates so I suppose I'm a hypocrite.
And your wife always watches it with a simpleton?
I knew that too but the title of this thread is films not books or series or tv programmes !!! that's the clue!!!! , so don't play the I know more about films card .

the sad fact is I do not agree with you because I don't like your choices .. the films ive listed demonstrate I know a good film. This isn't a willy waving exercise you juvenile delinquent . I'm simply making a claim that I don't like many movies in the past 20 years because I believe they've gone downhill. Im not alone on this either mate.
Two of the biggest franchises since 2001 have been Transformers and Marvel, and I find both a bit boring tbh, there's only so much action I can stand before I tire of it. I'm quite happy to see an extended scene of complete destruction like in a Roland Emmerich disaster cheese fest, but when its extended destruction scene after extended destruction scene of non-stop CGI for an hour, it all becomes a bit 'meh'.

Is it worth watching any of the Hangover series? They've been massively hyped and that usually means a big disappointment.
