Saw it at the flics when it came out, but I was amazed, after watching it quite recently with my dad and my son, how well it had stood the test of time.

I'm always amazed anybody ever hired Sting to 'act'.

Kill Bill 2 is a cracker.

I just never fancied the ones that followed and reviews seem to back that up.

For me, Reservoir Dogs is still his best but Pulp Fiction is not more than a micron behind.

One thing I never do is go by reviews. Would have missed some brilliant movies if I went by the consensus of film critics.

I agree he’s hopeless, but he didn’t really have to act in Quadrophonia - all he had to do was look cool in a sharkskin suit, and he could do that okay.

Neither Lesley Ash nor Phil Daniels have ever been great actors really, but they’re both brilliant in this.
