Anyone seen Severance? 7+ imo, not sure how to classify it though, kind of weird sci fi conspiracy that reminds me in parts of X files and the film Brazil.

 

Ongoing series or one off?

 

Ongoing, first season is about 4 years old, but the 2nd season is out soon. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, but for those who will like it, they'll know in the first 5 minutes.

Mad Max double bill tonight.

 

Den Of Thieves 2 - 6.5

It’s alright. First was a lot better.

 

Watched both Mad Max films, the new one is just a nice introduction to the superb Fury Road.

 

I thought it was uber fùcking boring to be honest. Butler and Jackson are terrible in it and there isn't a cliché missed.

watched liar liar the other day. Standard Jim Carrey affair. I liked it. 7/10


Missus chose Shallow Hal last night. Ridiculous but i found it pretty funny. 7/10

 

Thought Carey was superb in Liar Liar ... sometimes a film is just perfect for a particular actor - also thought he was superb in Me, Myself and Irene - his other stuff is OK but nowt special IMHO ...

 

The Bourne Ultimatum, currently on Sky Showcase.
Great film, watched it a few times.

Strangely, never bothered with any of the other Bourne films bar this and Supremacy.

Good enough as a standalone.

 

Plus, always had a Julia Stiles hard on.

Night Agent season 2 - 7

First season probably just slightly better but it’s still worth a watch. Bound to be a season 3.
