The Rock ConAir Gone in 60 seconds Lord of war Face/off Mandy Renfield Willie's wonderland. Kickass He's actually been in a fair few very good movies. All his Uncles doing though.
Probably only vaguely aware that Cage was related to Coppola, and that only fairly recently ... I've enjoyed him in both the films that Luv managed to list and a few others above ... but he's not an actor that makes me go "Oh.. he/she's in it ... I'll give that a go..." when I'm searching for something, I'll admit ...
See I'm the total opposite. If Cage is in it I'll always give it a go. Mainly because the film may not be great but they are nearly always interesting.
Wyatt Earp and the cowboy war. Docudrama series narrated by Ed Harris tells the story of the most famous gunfight in the wild west and it's aftermath. A 6 parter that delves into how what was happening in Tombstone actually affected the whole of the USA and put the newly formed union in jeopardy. Very interesting story. 7/10
The Hollywood reporter. Actors/directors/etc Roundtables. Youtube channel that brings the best of the best together to discuss film and thier work there in. This is so so good for any film buffs out there. Just watched a directors roundtable that featured Danny Boyle, David O Russell, Ridley Scott, Quentin Tarantino, Tom Hooper and Alejandro G. Inarritu. Just excellent content. 10/10 Also GQ channel Actors break down their most iconic characters. Watch the likes of Kurt Russell, Jake Gyllenhaal, Casey Afleck etc etc etc talk about the characters they played. Again, movie Buff heaven. 10/10
Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing. Took two evenings. Last night, first hour was a bit ****. Tonight finishing it was a bit better. Meh, tbh. Daisy Edgar is as plain/pretty as always but no gratuitous tits out this time. 7.7/10.
Didn't help Mrs Chief fell asleep last night, so we had to watch in two halves. Like I said, slow start, but tonight's bit I thought was good. CBA watch again in a oner now though!
Couldn't find anything new to watch so put Manchester By The Sea on, 2nd watch ****ing stunning film.
New Rings of Power series is somehow even more ****e than the first one, which in itself is a remarkable achievement.
