Just goes to show how different everyone is ... just add Jason Solid Pine Statham to your last paragraph and you have just about the definitive list of actors that I would gladly skip past when looking for something to watch ... with the possible exception of the Terminator films
Aldo's definitive list of 80s action movies Die hard Raiders of the lost Ark First blood Predator Terminator The Killer Mad Max, Road warriors Escape from New York Aliens Big trouble in little China Police story Top Gun That's it, that's the list.
Have to agree jason statement films are mostly fuking meh I dont include lockstock or operation fortune in that tho
Did Beverly Hills Cop 4 on Netflix tonight ... think they should have stopped earlier ... give it 3 to 4 for nostalgia and also the occasional Donkey homage line but really felt a bit too forced all round ...
He is a bit part in lock stock, part of the cast that knit together so well. sure I read once that he was a market stall worker in his younger days, so the opening scene with him in selling chains is right up his street. (Tears as big as October cabbages-banging line)
Watched The Snowman this afternoon- Michael Fassbender not Aled Jones ... in fairness, he struggled with some of the high notes ... seriously now ... based on a Jo Nesbo novel about a serial killer in Norway - very good- give it an 8 ....
New Beverly Hills Cop - 5.1 One of those from the off that I knew really didn’t need making but I still watched it for nostalgic purposes.
Gen V - 8.1 Waiting for the latest season of The Boys to finish before binging it and forgot I hadn't watched this yet. Good ****, man, same vibe as The Boys. Guy with schizophrenia was unintentionally hilarious, especially when he ****ed up that assault crew whilst he viewed them as puppets, lol.
Yeh gen v was very good, watcyed in the hope it wasnt some soft teen version of the boys and it deffo wasnt that, more outrageous if anything. Im same with season 4 boys, will wait til its done and binge, same for house of dragons
I'm going to binge it all once it's done, didn't live out when I first watched though. Where does this Gen V fit in? Before or after The Boys?
Runs at the same time, so things in the boys are in the gen v show. Does it well tbh and it comes together at the end so they kind of merge both shows. Its good
