I'm continuing to watch The Underground Railroad, very good so far.
What's it about? I need a decent series to get into.
If it's @Archers Road life story I'm out.

It's on Prime, based on a novel by Colson Whitehead about the underground network that slaves used in the deep south, it's based on real events but it's a work of fiction about 2 slaves trying to escape the plantations.

12 years was not great imo. I like some of the directors stuff but that wasn't my fave. This is more interesting already.Tbh Luv I've become a bit numb to tv and films on slavery. I think 13 Yrs a Slave was the last thing I watched which was good.
I do remember seeing something on a documentary or news report about these underground routes though, some actually from big mansions but can't remember exactly.
Well done mate, proud of you.Finished Oppenheimer. 9/10.
Brilliant cast.
Awake now, so watching a program on the opportunity river that they put on Mars.Well done mate, proud of you.
This is brilliant. People need to watch this. All the lights we cannot see.
Really good mini series featuring an excellent cast.
8/10
Too low?

I'm a big Wes Anderson fan and enjoyed the film but freely admit it's not his best, but also not his worst. I think if you're a fan you accept what you're going to get before putting it on which may help.Yeh you've defo sunk to new depths with that rating.
It's bloody god awful and you'll never watch it again but 7.5![]()

I also didn't like Tenet. Asteroid City is indulgent yes but not overindulgent crap like Tenet. There's a constant theme about death and grief running through the film with all the Wes Anderson distraction around it and I enjoyed that and some of the lighter moments that I thought depicted the ability of people to carry on regardless of the hurt and grief that may have happened in their lives.I think that's the point. You've up levelled it bcos it's Anderson. But it's ****.
Like that garbage Nolan put out with Tenet. I'm a big fan of his and I know what kind of film to expect before I put it on, but it was still ****.
Up its own arse, like AC here. Very good directors have a habit of doing this sometimes when they believe their own hype. Expect Anderson to reflect on his life, sort himself out and come out with a banger next.

Here's a poem to make it all better.
Ishiyama no
Ishi yori shiroshi
Aki no kaze
^^^^^ Haiku
A whiteness whiter
than the stones of Stone Mountain
The wind in autumn
Translation ^^^^ also Haiku
That's ****.
