Love JS ... went to see How The West Was Won in 'Cinerama' when I was a kid ... his portrayal of 'Linus Rawlings' is something that has stayed with me ever since ...

He was just a quality actor. I'd rate him easily in the Top 10 ever.

Whilst I like him in films like HTWWW, there's a string of his earlier stuff which is just on another level. The Shop Around the Corner, Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life, Mr Smith Goes To Washington. Superb stuff.

Also later Shenendoah ... last scene when his youngest enters the church on crutches never fails to put dust in my eyes...<whistle>

Decided to finish up on some Star Wars shows before giving Ahsoka a watch. I've not seen any of the animated stuff though as cartoons don't do it for me so hopefully Ahsoka isn't going to require too much knowledge of that, I know about many characters from it but not the storylines.

Anyways:

Andor - 2.7

Started watching this months back but then dropped it because it was boring, wish I never chose to restart it. How in the **** some of you were giving this show high ratings I'll never know. Nothing ever really happens.

Mandalorian Season 3 - 7.2

Another solid entry in the Mando-verse, last couple episodes especially were a fun watch. Left me going into Ahsoka with high expectations.

It's a slow burner did you get past episode 3??

You're a heathen DH I want you to know that <whistle>

**** it, Gladiator on Netflix.

Uber brilliant film. That's my evening sorted.

Once heard ...

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife.

Just finished Foundation Season 1 & 2, pretty good, but not as good as it could've been. Lee Pace is excellent in it.
About to start an old classic, found both seasons of The Water Margin.

I liked the water margin not as much as monkey but pretty close to it……..classic tv dubbing out but we didn’t care it was part of the fun
