Banshees of Inisherin - 4.3

What a major disappointment that was, had massive hopes after Farrell and Gleeson working together again as I loved In Bruges but this was just almost 2 hours of ****ing nonsense, there was barely any humour and the story was ****. Barry Keoghan’s supporting role was the only enjoyable thing about it and stopped me from scoring it around a 2.

I thought it was good <laugh>

Essentially @Mick O'Toon life story about how he lost all his mates and ended up on Not606.

Watched the latest remake of Rebecca 7.1/10

I've yet to see one which holds a candle to the original - Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine n the always superb George Sanders. No one does the housekeeper like Judith Anderson either.

One of the most underrated Hitchcock films as well.

Just binged watched Halo

It's excellent. A CGi wonder with a great cast and a great story.

9/10
I watched this partially due to this post but while some episodes were top notch as a whole i wouldn't give it more than 7.5 . Think they might have been better off making the series a bit longer to fully round out elements of the story .

PS never played the game so have no idea how true it is to that but bits did feel like a campaign mission .

Also this looks good

I still don't get it. All these top films and not watching them. Like being a Spurs fan and not playing Son.

Oh fck just realised there's a few bits in Tetris with subtitles when they're talking Russian :bandit:

I laughed all the way through it, great film. I'm looking into you getting banned from here. @brb ?

With your rating history, this doesn’t surprise me in the slightest!

Brb knows I fight the good fight when it comes to film ratings, he’ll have my back.

**** the banshees!
