Breaking Bad is a very good show, but grossly overrated.
The last season was pretty pish.
Ozark ive only seen half of season 1, and I liked it, but not seen enough.
Better Call Saul I haven't seen at all.

The only show that even comes anywhere close to the Wire in quality is the Sopranos.
Game of Thrones Seasons 1-4 could have been a contender, but season 5 was dull, season 6 was the opposite, too much action not enough intrigue and the last two seasons, well, i've seen better writing on Dora the Explorer.

Breaking Bad should have ended when Gus died.
The last season I dont think there is a scene where Jesse isnt crying, has just cried or is about to cry.
And throwing in a gang of Neo Nazi ******s as last minute antagonists was just :-I
The Sopranos is next on our list. Heard the ending was a bit **** though?

5 more games bro. Starting with Leicester away this weekend :emoticon-0150-hands

****ing Walking Dead, talk about milking it.
Loved the first 3 seasons.
season 4 and 5 were decent.
After that the quality just dipped and dipped and dipped, and hasnt stopped.
I think the last episode I watched was the one where Carl died, cant remember what season that was, I wanna say 7 or 8.
Then when I heard that the actor who played Rick has opted out, I knew my decision to stop watching was vindicated.
I know people will die in shows, especially a zombie apocalypse show, but literally ALL the characters I cared about in the first 3 season are now gone.
Rick, Lori, Carl, Shane, Dale, Glenn, T-Dog, Andrea, The Governor.
The only originals left I think are Daryl and Carol.
Maggie was cool, but she left, though I heard she came crawling back eventually when the other show she was in got cancelled.

Wow. Just wow.
The two deaths have a massive impact on how it finishes. Agreed it can be slow, but Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul both have Loads of slow moments. I noticed this a lot more when I rewatched them both last year.
There's slow but interesting and then there's Ozark. For all the good moments it just bores the hell out of you between them. I don't know the outcome after those deaths but you must agree that it was done badly? Dead oh my how shocking but just to do it like that to two major characters? No tension or real build up to them realising it was going to happen. Characters also have crazy ways of changing their alligence between the different groups which makes it a bit silly.

There was an endless debate about the ending with fans split on it being either **** or amazing. I'm in the amazing group Bod in the **** group. Where he belongs imo.
My feelings have somewhat changed.
I felt it was a cop out at the time, but in retrospect I have grown to appreciate it a little more.

Oh.
I haven’t actually watched it.
Don’t think I’ll bother now. Seems to be a lot of series that just go on for too long. Easy money maker etc, knowing that people are invested in seeing it through to the end.

If you didn’t like how they killed those two major characters, definitely don’t watch the final episodes! <laugh>
I can’t really say I found any of it that boring to be honest. I know there’s a lot of politics in it, but I enjoyed them because it showed Wendy’s thirst for power etc.
Like you said, Laura Linney is exceptional.

Lol great summary of breaking bad and got.

Seriously i understand people saying its to show walters way down the hole but the build up to it. I think breaking bad would have ended better if after gus died they wrote "walter now loves being a druglord and and dies a villains death" than all the stupid **** with the neo nazis

I haven't seen the second half of the last season yet but I do feel like Wendy was set up to parallel the Walter White character arc from Breaking Bad.... Although they seemed to have made her complete her ark to quickly.

The kids rebelling then not rebelling and switching which one is hating the parents always seemed a bit artificial to me.

Overall do like the show though.

Gave up on both Breaking Bad and Ozark part way through series 2, laborious watch, both of them, the good bits didn't make up for the amount of yawn
