I'm surprised by your reviews of both tbh. I thought Murder on the Orient was the better film and visually better because it was a lot more on location. Death on the Nile looked plastic bcos 90% of it was all CGI and looked it from the scene at pyramids which was awful to the wide shots of the boat on the Nile to the spots where they stop off. Poor script as well. Compare that with Ustinov's, better script and shot entirely on location.
I just enjoyed for what they were, polished big budget and just a bit dull. Decent enough films but nothing special. The CGI visuals worked well in the second one and made the film look lavish yet completely false, I liked that. I'm not a fan of the old films so wasn't comparing.
The Batman Very good 8.5/10 Much more like a detective whodunnit. The difference with Nolan is he really knows how to put the right background music with the right film. Good film though. Pattinson made a good batman as well.
I can only defer you to Luv's statement, the CGI visuals worked well in the second one and made the film look lavish yet completely false, and I liked that.
I haven't seen it tbh. I watched The Jungle Book again the other day. Good CGI and top film tbf. Have you seen the new Batman film. Well worth watching imo.
