I stopped eating meat in my late teens and early 20's when I did cross-country racing and road races. I could never stop eating fish though. Went back on meat in my early 30's, and a few decades on I regret it now as my arteries jam up. Always remember a line from Dennis Leary though about Dolphin-friendly tuna; 'Oh. he looks like Flipper, and he's so intelligent, so don't harm the poor dolphin. The tuna? Get in the ****ing can'.
