Captain Chod probably likes 'Last house on the left, and I spit on your grave'.

People who have seen these, will know what i mean.

Yeh I'm the same. Can't be arsed with all that gore ****e. Only watch horror with suspense and edge of seat stuff.

Only watch something like Hills Have Eyes when the Glaziers are spotted at Old Trafford.

There's some good horror films out there that are thrillers. I take it you've seen A Quiet Place?

I think I would class it as SF even though it's set on Earth. It's about 2/3 years old. Emily Blunt. Sequel is out soon.

I quite like films like Insidious snd The Conjuring. Would recommend you watch those too <ok>

I watched that on a night flight from America without the sound and the screen a couple of inches from my face
The final scene had every hair standing on end
I watched it again a couple of years later on the TV and wasn't the same, the second one was as bad as the Exorcist

That end scene is brilliant, I'd have been over and into the seat behind by the end of it lol.
Not seen the second film, I just had the feeling a film like the Ring is a one off story so the next one would be ****.
