The adrenalin rush of the climax with the clock tower was never matched by the others imo and even now bring a rush of blood when you see it.
Every scene in the first one was a classic. I love the bit near the beginning where they are sitting around the dinner table and Marty's mum is recalling the night her and George McFly met. He is watching the tele and she recalls how that night she realised that she was going to spend the rest of her life with him. He turns around laughing in that geeky way at the comedy on the TV and the rest of the family all look resigned to their fate Classic cinema moment.
How bout " Fever Pitch " going to America in a baseball setting . The original is a classic football movie to me , the American version pales the original . Also , to bad such a great movie revolved around Arsenal ...haha.
Little off topic Treb , but your avatar looks like me , after 40 years of roofing , getting out of bed and going to the head in the morning except you can't see the crawling part further to the left ....
Also the scene where Marty McFly creeps into George McFly's bedroom in his Radioactive suit, puts the headphones on a sleeping George and blasts Van Halen into in ears and then tells him that he is Darth Vader classic. I'll dig out some clips after the footie.
You can't like both mate. They're chalk and cheese. It's like saying Spurs/Arsenal. Sort it out please Spurlock and make a choice! I'll be back later to check...
you only live twice has to be up there simply because Pleasence was Blofeld. Next Bond question is; which car would you have? I'll take the Lotus Esprit from The Spy who loved me
Any other oldies on here? The Color of Money sequel to The Hustler - starring Paul Newman, amazing actor. Story about a pool hustler. In Color of Money Newman's set against a very young Tom Cruise, youth versus age ....... Scorsese film what more do you want.
Vardy's film sequel will be good. The first is obviously all about winning and happy days. The second will be similar to Breaking Bad I reckon.
