High Rise was nearly part of my movie marathon the other day, looks intriguing, let us know.

Ankle break is worse than a toe break. I've done my right ankle thrice, once to the left, once to the right and once forwards when my foot got stuck under a heavy metal gate when I was closing it behind me. I felt my achilles stretch right up to my knee and I might have cried, just a little. Didn't go to hospital for any of them and now I have what appears to be two ankle bones. An abnormal protrusion, if you will. Probably should have gone to hospital. Done my toe several times. The only time I went to hospital was when I broke a metacarpal and they put a massive pot on right up to my elbow. When I got back in my van I couldn't change gear so I took it off.

That's enough about me, I hope your toe is on the mend and doesn't hurt too much. Let the majesty of movie making sooth your ails.

I watched it as well, I thought it was bordering on baba, far too much overacting, the bit where the shot prosecutor records her statement in the underground car park was painfully bad. I'd give it 4/10.

    Try watching these:

Belles On Their Toes (1952) - The "Cheaper by the Dozen" crew is back, sans Clifton Webb. Lillian is struggling to make ends meet without her husband's income, while Anne, Martha, and even Ernestine find romance.
    http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0044410/

The Toe Tactic (2008) - Mona is nearly overwhelmed by grief and depression. After her father's death, she's cut herself off: leaving teaching - she now temps as an office assistant, ignoring her mother's calls, talking to herself in mirrors, and rejecting any offered intimacy. She's watched over by comic extraterrestrial beings whom we see as cartoon squiggles. They ensure that random acts bring her connections - with a neighbor boy, his mother, and his surreptitious piano teacher (the lad wants to surprise his mom). She also meets an elevator operator in the building where she temps for Ms. Hadaway, a widow with perfect diction. Can Mona take a few steps on the road to expressing emotion?

Toe to Toe (2009) - A story about two lacrosse teammates from opposite sides of the track.
    http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1209364/

    This is well rated!!!

This Little Piggy (2014) - A young Melbourne man's illegal business takes off and is thriving until his pig-headedness sends everything awry.
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3401026/

Although, for the future, this might be the answer:

Steel Toes (2007) - Rage and intolerance collide with compassion Academy-Award nominated David Strathairn portrays Danny Dunkleman, a Jewish liberal humanist, and the court-appointed lawyer representing Mike Downey, a Neo-Nazi Skinhead on trial for the racially motivated murder of an East Indian immigrant. Steel Toes takes us into the intense and fiery relationship that develops between these two men as they explore their emotional and intellectual differences. Steel Toes is a provocative exploration of the inescapable and insidious presence of racial and religious intolerance in our society.

Can't beat a good theme night. Enjoy <cheers>

Just watched first episode of the Tunnel season 2, really good just like the first series. I like the way they use the English and French coastal areas as a backdrop, very atmospheric. Got the Revenant lined up to watch tomorrow also the Ricky Gervais film and Zoolander 2, spoilt for choice

Just watched Dark Horse which is the true story of the racehorse Dream Alliance.
If you're not a subscriber to the Racing Post he was a horse bred by a syndicate from a Welsh working mans club and brought up on an allotment, before being sent to be properly trained
Well worth a watch if you want a feel good film (well sort of a documentary I suppose)

The Dark Knight is on on ITV. Started at 22:20, but there is a +1 channel, so at least you can see most of it.
