It definitely has a slow start, but once Cage gets mad the film goes into absolute overdrive and barely stops.
We'll give it another go then quill but if it still turns out crap you owe us some of your life to replace ours that we'll never get back.
Went to the refurbished Odeon to watch Stan and Ollie the other night Film was really good (although maybe not that good as I fell asleep for a bit! ) One of the reasons I fell asleep though is the chairs are superb. Massive comfy seats with space round so you have your own armrests both sides and a table for your beer (Black Sheep) and they recline completely still leaving you with loads of space in front of you before the next row £18 a month unlimited films I might join and just move in!
The House That Jack Built, I could have sworn that someone on here or the Netflix thread recommended it, I’ve searched both and can’t find the ****ington post, whoever it was is a serpently a ****ington **** of the highest order, and maybe I’m even more of a **** for sticking with it half an hour. It’s the biggest pile of dog ****e that I’ve had the misfortune to watch in a long time. In summary, don’t ****ing bother.
I enjoyed it. So did the wife. Obviously it must be a film for the more sophisticated among us. (It was Leon T Trout by the way.)
Watched Rocket Man last night, it was very good, the lead played Elton flawlessly and the storyline was a bit of an eye opener. Well worth a watch, especially if you like Elton John.
Loved that film, I might of posted something but as I have no memory it might of just been a dream, true story to boot.....
Went to see 'The Keeper' today and really enjoyed it. The guy next door was a Manchester City fan old enough to have watched Frank Swift and in his late 70's often came to watch them play in live TV Premier League matches at our house. My husband said the film had a few things different from what he previously had read about in the Bert Trautmann story. It is generally rated here at 3.5 stars but I would give it 4. Rotten Tomatoes rate it at 5.
