Watch Spotlight and Zodiac too. All four are very similar films, and all four are fantastic (Zodiac is in my personal top 5 all time).

    Spotlight is class.

The teacher's superb, forget his name, from Oz.

Agreed, it rightly won Best Picture that year at the Oscars. Great film.

I know you like to think you’re of significance to me, but I swear on my mother’s life that I have never once gone back to check on what you’ve said in the past.

I remember as a kid going to see BTTF at pictures. Absolutely loved it but was willing it to end as I was dying for a piss from about the midway point.

Strangely, I've never properly seen the second one (seen bits on telly) but went to pictures to see part 3.

Much like with Ghostbusters - one of my top 5 of all time as it happens - the 2nd BTTF is one of the worst films ever made.

It was so bad that it made Rogue One and The Last Jedi look good.

Went to see Ghostbusters - can't remember if it was ABC or Cecil - totally loved it.

Had the despair of the cinema being full before my turn in the queue the first time I went.

What was the first film you remember going to see at pictures?

Have vague memories of going to see Empire SB and Superman 2 (not sure which one was out first).

But the first proper experience I truly recall was ET - be about '82 or '83.

Yeah for me it’s Empire Strikes Back, at Cecil anarl. I remember my dad falling asleep and he woke up at the credits not having seen one of the most famous film reveals of all time and he didn’t believe me <laugh>
