With important players missing next Saturday we need maximum support from the stands. As well as the free ticket admissions, it would be great for as many ST holders as possible to turn up themselves! If three wins and a draw can't inspire them to come back to the Valley when the team really needs them, I don't know what will.
Be safe everyone on Saturday I've had my vaccinations, but big crowds still make me apprehensive. I've noticed very few fans wearing masks when gathered in huge numbers especially just after the home games.
There will be so many free tickets flying around I reckon we'll end up with bums on seats of less than 20k, and that's including the the 3k Plymouth will bring.
It will be difficult to tell how many people actually show up. And as a general observation I find it disappointing that football Clubs are not interested in giving accurate attendance figures - in an age where everything is recorded and massive amounts of data are collected. Attendance figures mean almost nothing, as we all know they are very inaccurate and prone to being spun. I don't mind initiatives like this at all. And my next comment is not meant as a swipe at TS in any way. But the only way Charlton Athletic will ever really see a full Valley again is by returning to the top flight. Even in the Championship, we will be very lucky to top 20,000 at each home game.
They're at it again! Two more home games before Christmas. Free footy for friends & family of ST holders. A gift in these difficult times.
Would have preferred a cheaper ticket option so at least there is some money coming in, however no issue with more people inside the ground. Getting them back when it’s not free will be the interesting point though
