Pardon my french.... In the present time QPR does look like Don Quixote and sparky is obviously Sancho Panza and and yes the proper way to say is Tilting at windmills if you like to say it in a Quixote sort of way. In QPR's case the worst visible enemy are the players themselves and the mistake they make match after match.
So we are reduced to this?...
Not again why all this talk of going down,at the end of the day up or down we will always support QPR WHATEVER DIVISION.
{QUOTE=Goldhawk;2550580]Yes, it's the spirit of never say die, I was trying to capture Rodney. But now that you mention it, he did die, but at least he never said it!
After seeing todays performance my optimism have rise a bit. However just after crabbing all three points from Old Trafford im certain of our saviour.
The expression is definitely âTilting at Windmillsâ which is also the title of an excellent book by Andy Miller. The author is a non sports loving man who attempts to cultivate a love of sport which includes following Q.P.R. for a while. The author eventually ends up representing England at Crazy Golf! I would thoroughly recommend the book, especially for those who either support Q.P.R. (!) or enjoy a round of crazy golf. My family and I have played on many of the courses he mentions.
I'm glad I posted first on this thread, which was doomed, yet I revived it as I spotted it sinking into the depths of no-response as it deserved to do.
