UR gay looks serious **** with this.... but you know what.. its higly likely someone will sneak it through.

    anyway

today is the day.. platini can make or break himself today. Baltter has all the votes but platini has the centre of power. If he stages a walkout after the staged voted and can topple fifa a new organisation could be founded... the only way to fix fifia is to break it up and put in a new system were a corrupt little gobshite bribed with a football pitch or two and a 10k watch can propo up a massive global gravey train is not possible.

Thought there were a couple of famous ex-pros standing in this election, not just Prince Aladdin and Sepp Twatter??

    What happened to them??

If Twatter gets in again that's shameful, I'd say an outrage and shocking but really all this was one of sports most open secrets wasn't it, everyone knew the deal and joked about the backhanders, bungs, bribes and 'gifts' when mentioning these crims in lieu of being able to actually change it, now that it's finally been properly exposed it looks like it's changed nothing, Zurich must totally stink today...

What is it with these sports organisations, Twatter in Fifa, Ecclestone in F1?? Best thing that could happen is that they croak but the old ****s just keep going, not surprising with the prospect of even further riches to sate their greed

There's a chance Blatter will get arrested even if he's reelected, the US authorities when asked if he's going to be arrested as part of the investigation said "no comment" just that he's not involved at this stage.
Its a joke that today's vote is going ahead as planned.

Apparently the buyoff to get the South Africa WC is being blamed on an Argentinian who died years ago. <doh>

Blatter has been buying votes for decades with FIFA money in small countries.

FIFA is just a mirror of corporate owned politics. There is no difference.

Sure look at who is opposing him in the election, A ****ING PRINCE.
So from Blatter, a corrupt autocratic plutocrat dinosaur to possibly a member of a Monarchy!

FIFA need to be ditched in its entirety

As the current president he's been hogging the stage at their headquarters since 9 o'clock spouting pure bullshit as per usual, his opposition candidate will get 15 minutes on stage the afternoon to put his message across.<laugh>

    Ominous interview from Jack Warner.

Former Fifa vice president Jack Warner left a Trinidad jail by ambulance on Thursday, a day after he was charged in a US corruption case that has led to the arrests of more than a dozen international soccer officials and businessmen.

The 72-year-old Warner complained of exhaustion and was not able to face questions from reporters gathered for several hours outside the jail.

But a short while later, he gave a defiant speech before a crowd of raucous supporters in the district he represents as an opposition member of Parliament.

"If I have been thieving Fifa money for 30 years, who gave me the money? How come he is not charged? Why have only persons from Third World countries been charged?'' Warner said.

" how come he is not charged ", I wonder who he means.<laugh>

More than a specific person\buyoff it does seem a freudian slip that points to the tribute system, pay to play literally. It's not a shocker though is it, no one is even remotely surprised, only surprised that there have finally been arrests, and only because one of them got caught for taxes in the US and rolled over. Otherwise this would just go on and on.

FIFA wield far more power than football. World Cups have political and economic impacts. In that respect FIFA have to be held to higher accountability.

Did make me laugh when he said e can't be held responsible for what other people in his organisation did.

Really? Because that's how things work... You have a corroborate responsibility for your employees

What way exactly are you looking at this? Suarez and uruguay are trying any which way to get him back into the national team by any means, isn't that normal? Didn't the FA go and get Rooney's ban shortened after he kicked another player?

The Uruguayans are sensing some FIFA weakness and chancing their arm, nothing to see here

Of course you can come back with "I'd rather be kicked than nibbled" :bandit:

I'm looking at this in the way of.....
What the **** does one have to do with the other?
There is no correlation between these guys racketeering, and Suarez ban for biting someone.
It is such an over reach it is laughable, but I guess you cannot blame them for trying.

Blatter had today quoted his predecessor Joao Havelange as if he's a virtuous person.

"My predecessor (Joao Havelange) said to me once, 'You've created a monster'. FIFA has become a big company. You are the owners of that company. You elected a congress and the congress have elected a president."

This is the criminal Blatter quoted.
