The latest hooha over corruption in the top ranks of FIFA is embarrassing for the football family. Sepp Blatter seems to be the main target of the FBI, UEFA, Swiss police, The Premiership and so on and so on. Certainly some decisions by FIFA have beggered belief recently: Qatar, sponsorship, use of line technology et cetera. But before Blatter came to power, FIFA was a European and South American cartell, and since he has been at the reins Asia, Africa, Australasia and The Caribbean islands now take part fully in FIFA. Perhaps, in an attempt to make FiFA more transparent, rules should be changed so that the President can only take two 4 year terms and each regional Federation should have the opportunity in rota to host the presidency when the current President stands down or is voted out.

I prefer a positive approach rather than a blame approach...unless there has been criminality.
