    Oh well.
    Spain were the better side.
One game too far for England, but they did very well.
Carried too many players in the end.
Shame it was that terrible ref again, but that wasn't the reason they lost.

At least it wasn't the men!!

Well done Spain, much the better team and their victory was well-deserved. <applause>

(The England team were certainly 'off-the-boil' the last couple of games, but did very well in the tournament, and played their hearts out)

Spain looked the more skilful, the more athletic side.

Actually, England did well to confine them to one goal, but offensively there was a lack of talent on display from England today after the first 10 minutes.

At least we won't have Sir Keir crowing about a bank holiday.

I agree. Still small margins though.
England hit the bar at 0-0 and the same player, Hemp, probably should have scored 2nd half too.
Spain were much better on the day though.

Hopefully all this bollox about Weigman coaching the men's team will stop after the way she messed up in the final. Never should have played 3-5-2 against the Spanish.
Spain were excellent and were completely out playing England through the midfield.
She rightly changed to 4-3-3, but leaving Stanway and Toone on was criminal.
