Diaby wasn't stood still when Barton won the ball was he!! So, why is this 50/50 challenge all being blamed 100% on Barton, get a hold of yourselves Arsenal fans, this is a contact sport we are talking about!!

Barton AND Diaby went in firmly - Barton won the ball and the momentum of both players caused a hard impact.

    De Jong on Ben Arfa...

What happened then? Your player is missing for 3 games, our best one has been out since the start of October.

    Get over it!

Wenger and Ar5ena1 fans make me laugh. They've got to be bottom of the fair play league, Koscielny alone has been sent off at least twice. Wenger likes to try to police football and get everyone playing the 'right way' but whenever his team of thugs and bottlers shoot themselves in the foot he 'didn't see it'. Enjoy 2nd AGAIN if you're lucky.

    To the original poster...

grow up you spoilt little ****. At the end of the day barton has made a fair but hard challenge as is the majority opinion and diaby got HIMSELF sent off at the end of the day there is only one person to blame for the dismissal and thats your player.

we might have got lucky in getting back into the game but just show a little bit of class and get over it. this is football, there will always be winners and losers sometimes it won't be your day. fact is your lot bottled it at the end and invited us on. thats what happens.

It should have been a red for the dangerous tackle on Diaby. He shouldn't have done it, but I can see why Diaby reacted. That could well have broken his leg again.

Had it been any other player we wouldn't even be discussing it!!!!

Ben Arfa got his leg broke in 2 plays by what the FA deemed as a perfectly good challenge, Joey Barton goes for a 50/50 ball wins and connects with the player who is NOT injured but proceeds to jump up having a hissy fit and over reacts.

Had Diaby won the ball and injured Barton you lot wouldn't even bat an eyelid and would probably say he deserved it, so deal with it.

If you didn't like the challenge then take it up with the FA, don't try to make Barton the villian for carrying out a perfectly leagal tackle which DIDN'T injure the player.

Maybe Joey can advise some one to show your team some anger management!!!!!!

But the fact is, Barton went down like a pussy and went straight for stickin his ass in the air, droppin the soap in prison alot?

Brilliant. Because Arsenal are entitled to a different set of rules which better complement their more European style of play? Or just because you have become used to preferential treatment? Whatever happened to the English game? Toughen up man. It's not netball.

Barton played like a champion, unlike your lot

Dowd was the referee, he makes the decisions, not Diaby or Wenger or Cescpit Fabregas

You can blame everyone else if you like, why not blame me for roaring on my team, something that rarely happens at the corporate emirates

but that won't get you far, just remember not to bottle it at Wembley eh?

Articles like this make the comeback even better. BAD LOSERS!!

I used to think Arsenal fans were ok but they're SOOOOO arrogant!

Diaby didn't even come out of that tackle with a bruise.

Joey Barton is taking a lot of blame this season

He made Diaby grab him by the neck
He made Wolves players violently kick him over the course of 90 mins
and he started that Queensland hurricane by whistling the opening bars of Waltzing Matilda

He'll probably get the blame for not being picked in the England squad when Gerrard, Lampard and co. have another woeful game

Partly, he was wound up by an alledged 4 hoofed tackle from a camel, apparently the Egyptian leader didn't see the camel's challenge but defo saw Barton's reaction which he claimed was "worse than pissing on a pyramid"

the difference of opinion split the nation

    ========

    Err, we didn't lose <doh>

Diaby was silly for reacting as he did. But as a player that has had his career blighted by injury, I can see why he did. It was a hard tackle. But I think only Diaby and Barton can know if it was 'excessive force', really. And Diaby clearly thought it was.
