Good to see Wales moving up the rankings, though clearly, and as identified in earlier posts, how the rankings are calculated seems to defy common sense. The feel good factor in Wales at the moment is in no small part due to to our sadly missed Gary Speed. I hope we can build on his footballing legacy, and like him or not, Chris Coleman should be able to depend on the support of all of us Welshmen. As far as England is concerned, they appear to be in a transitional stage and although not really a Welshmans place to comment, I just think they too could do with a young, passionate manager who can build an ethos with a young team.

Italy make the euro finals and even won the world cup a few years back yet even they are below England who have won sweet F all in decades! Seriously how does this thing work? England I would say are probably on par with Ghana.

Ghana are a good team, im not disputing that. What I am saying though is that you are no better than they are and have no successes to justify your position.
Italy is a good example of why the rankings are total BS. Surely FIFA must question themselves when they see the rankings.
Well its nice to know that im not the only one surprised by the Fifa Rankings and how there worked out. Nice to see both Cardiff and Swansea fans actually agreeing on something . Well here's to a new season and Good luck to all Welsh sides this year, reckon its going to be a big one for all
