I also now understand where his 'apparent umbrage' at my traffic light post stems from ... 'Nani Mcphee' put a post on our board a couple of days ago which was actually aimed at provoking Leeds fans and which I first criticised for its lack of any wit and which I think AKCJ then closed the thread on ... looks like 'Amber/Torres/Nani' didn't appreciate being deprived of getting his 'fix' reaction and was waiting his moment to retaliate and hence the accusation of 'feud provoking' on my part that he made to some pretty harmless comment I made earlier on this thread ..
The change from Torres to Amber is ... but not that he also masquerades as 'Nani McPhee' purportedly a Man Utd supporting, Leeds hating individual .. you have to wonder why? ... and looks like he has been wumming on the Wall board to the extent that they decided to 'investigate' his identity....
I travel hundreds of miles to watch a game. If I was travelling to watch the ****ty approach to the game Burnley had on Saturday where the "tactics" included taking almost a minute to get play restarted for every goal kick, and resorting to tripping players up every time we got past them I wouldn't keep paying hundreds of pounds a year to contribute towards the wages of the manager making us suffer it. Like I said, if they were a team full of **** players and we were Barcelona then fair enough they're going to come and play like that, but they're not **** players they've got, and as you say we're not Barcelona, so there's no good reason for it when they'd have just as much chance of getting a result if they tried to play nice football. It's the same reason that players like Ronaldo diving pisses me off more than players like Junior Lewis diving would. If you've got the ability to beat people the good way why bother with negativity/diving?
Oh didn't realise I was playing you, AKCJ. I guess I'm still Burnley then! While we are on the subject of Burnley, I am absolutely gutted... Did a £5 bet last night, potential returns of over £6,000, and the only result I got wrong was that I put Burnely to win away at Barnsley, and they drew Absolutely devastated!!!!
Barnsley are a decent side and play good football I never bet against them when they are home Mk Dons last week cost lost me 2k always one team init
