What about Reading and Blackpool? Last years playoff runners up & a former premier league team.

I agree let's not go mad and say we're going up, but we've done well home and away since we we're thrashed by Leeds.

Blackpool were a shadow of their premier team and we should have slaughtered them. Reading were worse and we should have won by more than one. How Palace won here is beyond me.
All i'm say is the next few matches are against better than we have played already , well some are - then lets judge .

How many times do we here that we won because the opposition played crap. FFS we are stopping teams playing, there`s a good work ethic flowing through the team at the moment, and we are starting to play the right way, goals will come, of that I have no doubt. We aren`t up to full speed yet but still have put three wins together on the bounce. There are a lot of kids in this team that are learning all the time, and learning the right way. For a long time I`ve cried out for some inventiveness and in Brady we have that, can`t wait for Cammy to come back to add to that. The only problem with Brady is he is young, he needs to learn to make the right choices at the right time, that`s probably why big Nige has a go at him, and lets be honest, if ya get big Nige blasting you your gonna think twice about things next time round. As far as I`m concerned we`re heading in the right direction, with young promising players giving their all for the team.

We have played some good teams already this season. We went to Ipswich on the back of them winning 3-0 at Brizzle, beat last years play off finalists, beat a team who hadn't lost at home for 10 months and beat a side who came down with us (a game which many of us predicted to be tricky). I agree the big test comes when we play the likes of Boro, Southampton, West Ham and Leicester (I see no reason why we can't beat these teams) but you can't knock the results we've got off teams we've beaten. It's a pretty even league and 5 out of the 7 sides we have played so far this season you would expect to be knocking on the door of the play offs. I doubt anyone is getting carried away, it's still early with the league settling down but if we can be where we are now at Christmas/New Year we can start to feel confident.

completely agree mate.. when you've played the game or even just seen how much better quality we have these days compared to the Hately, Molby & Dolan days then we are in solid shape.. a lot of people seem to have already forgotten we could have been L1 or even liquidated this time last season..

Yeah I heard the text from this idiot. Christ knows what game he had just watched, if indeed he had watched it. Even Portsmouth's local rag gives direct reference to the fact we dominated the game.........

"Then, on eight minutes, Koren struck the far post with a beautifully curling right-foot effort.

Martyn Waghorn netted with the follow-up, only for the linesman’s flag to decree he was in an off-side position.

Barely three minutes later, there could be no disputing Koren’s strike which sped past Ashdown.

Effectively, it was game, set and match Hull at that very moment.

The hosts pushed forward for more – and they should have had plenty, such was their supreme dominance."

NP wants Brady to get to get to the byline but surely he would be more comfortable doing this on the left wing?

i agree,..right footers on the left, and vice versa seems to be creeping more and more in to the game, and becoming a lot more common then it used to be.

What footed is Brady? I originally thought it was right, but now think it might be left. Obviously he can use both pretty well but what is his best?

He seems to be able to hit the ball quite well with either foot, Koren's quite two footed too(though obviously not in the tackling department).

missed the peterboro game due to hols by my mates tell me that the posh were better than leeds. blackpool were a million times better than leeds. i would suggest that leeds won 4-1 due to just how bad city were on the night. but thats one game. the other 6 look a better picture. only after 46 games with the picture be finished.
