Was gonna post this, it's an utterly sobering & terrifying thought.

No way on gods earth can a club like Bolton ever clear a debt of that size, and so, as such, the club is dead regardless, as never will they have even the hope to be competitive.

It does beg the question, do we risk not spending in January? We are safe financially due to Ellis wealth, but as a businessman he will have limits.

We simply must find a goalscorer.

Chris Eagles is a ****ing decent player, BTW, might be worth a nibble.

Re our 'core support', it's about 28k, pretty decent & enough to sustain the club. Given that we've been **** forever, that is franklt incredible, and something of which I am forever proud.

Where were the 28,000 "core support" at the Chelsea game ?
I've been a supporter since 1957 mate and I'm just telling it the way I see it.

You know the situation with cups these days mate, it's not like 1973 is it?

We'll have 40,000 there today as a club that's been rock bottom since the start of the season and won nowt for 40 years.

Whichever way you look at things that's support that many higher placed clubs would kill for.

Week before Christmas, on tv as well, bottom of the league season, economic hard times and home games in the league to pay for as well meant the Chelsea game was a disappointing crowd. I'm not denying that.

However, given our predicament we will still have 40,000+ crowd today which us an incredible feat. There isn't many clubs in Europe that have had 40 years of nothing, 8 relegations, a third division low point and an aero plane hanger full of ****e players that can still muster the kinds of crowds we can. We have also sold out every league away game this season which tbh is even more incredible.

I love this club despite it testing me continually and will be there today to cheer us on to victory.

Chelsea have made a loss of £49.4m for the year ended 30 June 2013.
Their group turnover of £255.8m for the 12-month period is a record figure for the club, but elimination from last season's Champions League in the group stages saw a drop in income.
The club said these figures, combined with the previous year's profit of £1.4m, fall within the criteria set by Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations.
