I don't think he has to be in the 25? Not inluding him just means he can't play in the Premiership, unless we change the 25 in January to include him...

Don't know about that , but you can have people at your club over the age of 21 and not in the 25 man squad if for example you have more than 25 players, not quite sure on the rules though so you could be right that all the players must be registered if you don't have that many.

thats right swimaway, there are to many fans wearing those rose tinted glasses. under 50 games in five seasons proves without any shadow of doubt that bodde will not last the pace in any shape or form. your kidding your self if he will miraculous get fit and be the same player as he was...it ain't going to happen. no player is bigger than the club and the swans have gone the extra mile with bodde and now its time to call it a day and pay him off and bring in a player that will play football and not spend seasons....thats right seasons in the treatment room.......forget the romance this is business. bodde wont hack the premiership anyway he has been out far to long and he will get ripped to shreds by the younger more established premiership players in his first game and its back to the treatment room.......call it a day he is finished...

    I'm glad you're not a doctor, Dai.

Patient :"Hi doc, I've got a bit of a cold..."

Doc Dai : "Give up the ghost, you've probably got about 15 minutes to live."

Think I'll trust the club & the medical peoples' judgement on this, rather than any fan on here. No-one truly knows the real status with Bodde & until the club & he himself come out & quite categorically say he's finished, I believe we should give the guy every chance. Who knows, if he does recover full fitness, how he'll come back??!! It's impossible to say, different individuals come back in different way's. What's the point in giving up on him now, if we don't fully know??!! There's no romance in this, he is a quality player, he's our player & we could still get him back. Where's the romance in that??!!

    "Bodde won't hack the premiership!!"

On the evidence of the last two homes. if he recovers full fitness. He'll have no bother hacking the premiership......

In Mackay (who has a top notch surname, I might add ;)) you have a quality manager, I'm fully expecting you and West Ham to be the frontrunners for most of the season.

What are you on about, he has never played a premiership match. he could not hack playing neath before breaking down again....he will never be premiership standard in a month of Sundays. he could have 3 years ago if he could complete a full season without getting injured. his record speaks for itself he will never last the pace. its a dam shame but you have to face the facts.....bodde is finished or should i say never started top flight football and never will. he might make a cameo appearance but wont last 5 minutes before he is off to the treatment table where he has spent most of his career....thats the way it is im afraid his record proves it....

and you are a doctor jager <doh> im going on facts on his playing career. what are you going on....romance by the look at it...sorry pal but im a realist and he is injury prone and been out of the game too long.......he will never be good enough again, he loves the treatment room to much. he is not the first and wont be the last....good players are let down by not being able to stay injury free....look at his record it is very poor so why do you think this will ever change....it wont....

What does the quality of opposition have to do with how his knee feels Dai? Also, as far as I'm aware he acquitted himself quite well before having to go off.

How does his record speak for itself?! He was class, and then he got injured. The "record" has nothing to do with his chances of recovery, as Matthew Bates proves. God you talk some **** sometimes Dai.

Do you have any idea how harsh that would sound if it was you in Bodde's position and you read that? Dai, you're a ****ing twat, and you always will be. Go **** off and wish ill on someone else, unconnected with SCFC. You seem to get a kick out of 2 things, bringing bad news, and saying "I told you so".

No dai I am not a doc and I gather you are not doc brown either, which means neither are qualified to say his career is over , which means the realists in fact work at the club who know exactly what is going on, and are not in fact using speculation!

I say like most people on here they want to wait and see, you just want us to cut him out to dry, maybe we should do that to monk as well as he has been injured a hell of a lot during his career

Why?! Dai, unlike Bodde, DOES have a track record. One that shows he's been consistently wrong. While I wouldn't bet either way, if the club, and professionals are willing to give him more time, that, to me, indicates we should be willing to wait too.

As has been said, he was rushed back. Not once, but twice. The club, or at the very least Martinez and Sousa, have something to answer for and I for one am delighted we're sticking with him through hard times.

your talking out of your arse. his record speaks for itself....facts are facts and you choose to ignore them. bodde will never ever be a premiership player in his life time. he could not handle neath before he got crocked so how the hell do you expect bodde who has been out of the game more than he has been in it to ever compete with premiership players. they will eat him alive from the word go. the fact of the matter is...A) he was a very talented player...B) he could have been word class...C).He is very injury prone..D) he has spent the past 5 seasons mostly injured,...E) He has played less than 50 games in 5 seasons...F) He as made two comebacks which he failed miserably ...G) and to cap it all WE HAVE NOT MISSED HIM FOR A SECOND...here endeth the lesson....<ok>
