Get Rovers in there and it'd be Hull United. :emoticon-0103-cool:

As mentioned earlier, there were plans for a new stadium as part of the redevelopment of the old Kappa Pass site, however with the change of developer/plans from light industrial to residential the stadium seemed to vanish from the plans.....

Isn't there some land already earmarked for a stadium by other family members close by at Melton :emoticon-0136-giggl

I think they already have a user in mind. If they've promised it to them, you just know they won't go back on their word.

There's an enormous field next door to the existing site, agricultural land's cheap and I suspect the council would be very accommodating with the planning.

A ground share with Ionians would potentially be a good solution, though I doubt they want to move out of Ferriby.

You do seem to do it with more humour and less issues than some can manage. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Whoops, sorry, that should say "You would do it with humour....if of course you stirred, which you don't...:emoticon-0110-tongu

Ionians play at Brantingham park though, it's only got like a 400 seater stand.

The original plan Les was going to achieve was to put seating in the shed end and a temporary stand where the car parking spaces are. They've since stuck a club shop there but I assume that could be incorporated into the set up. The easiest thing to do would be to buy the land next to the ground and then move the 3G down a bit to allow another stand. There's no segregation at the moment either and after Boston, it's looking likely they're going to need it. Surprising how many teams don't like being beaten by a village team.

The problem is, they don't own the ground, they don't own the training pitch next to the ground and they don't make any money, it's not a great mix.

At least at Ionians the facilities are excellent, they'd just need some additional seating.

They are, but the changes to Ionians would probably cost a fair old whack, the facilities are very good, but there's not much in the way of turnstiles, safety or even football pitches at the moment.

I can see them ground sharing while construction goes ahead on something else.

Yeah well Dutch, I'm an oldish fart now so I have to make the most any opportunity to have a bit of a funtime stir, as for the issues, yeah I know, some people obviously have anger management/keyboard warrior issues, quite sad really.
