They'll be playing York City next season, and maybe Grimsby, if the latter don't win their play off final.
Congrats to them. Though at what point do they become our hated local rivals. I'm saying the line has been crossed. The ****s.
There must be a separate ownership to City as I am pretty sure you cannot own 2 clubs in England. Well done Ferriby !
Great stuff from my old village team, what a couple of years, the FA Trophy and now promotion - incredible that a village team has reached that level.
Well done Ferriby ... I wish my uncle on my wife's side was still alive to see witness this, he never missed a game, I don't know what he did at Ferriby but he was in and around the dressing room etc. He would certainly be made up with all this. Great stuff.
what a day - went to Derby, one of the best performances I have ever seen by City and then called in at North Ferriby on way home with time to see last 25 mins of second half. Well done to them on a brilliant win and promotion.
WELL DONE TO NORTH FERRIBY UNITED. FULLY DESERVED OVER THE SEASON. Games against York, Lincoln, Wrexham, Torquay, Tranmere, and maybe Grimsby ?? to name but a few. Hopefully NFU will play most home games when Hull City are away. Crowds of 1500 plus are well on the cards.
Floodlights are OK I think......upgraded when City used them as the reserves stadium when we were in the Premiership There are far more major ground upgrades required in order to stay in the league if the can......I do not believe it is a possibility at the current ground long term & if they can cement a place in that league it would probably mean a new stadium of groundshare until they can get one built....there certainly isn't the space to expand within the current site........originally there was a new stadium planned as part of the redevelopment of the Cappa Pass site but that was shelved when development plans changed from light industrial to residential
Saw a tweet in the week from one of their bods saying they had improvements to make but had been given 'til next year to complete them.
