Ferrari launch their 2024 challenger.
Fred says it`s not a revolution as this is the 3td year of these regs.so not a lot can be done.
Some nice touches of yellow and white ,but at least there`s plenty of red paint.
If it could just get four or five wins this year then build on that when Lewis arrives,I`m always hopeful.

so the side pods entrance is a red bull knock off. the nose is a red bull knock off, the front suspension, guss what?

the bulge under the side pot is different to other teams. there seems to be something like a second entry under the side pod too.

Drop the red on the wings and fill in the silly lines with red and you have a stunner. .

its like they've had a red bull to look at for 2 full years and never actually looked.

From that photo I'd say their main problem is they're missing rear wheels.

Ferrari are changing their front suspension to a pull rod design believing this will suit both Charles and Lewis. It is also the same as Redbull and Mclaren.
Lewis is expected to have a home in Milan, a place I have a soft spot for having lived there back in the 1980's. Quite a way to Marenello though, guess helicopter will be the logical means of getting from Milan to Marenello.

Interesting, where did you see that - I recall it being considered mid year (for 25), but have seen nothing recently?

I’d be surprised if driver preference is the main factor, otherwise they’d have done it for Leclerc before now you’d think?

If we’re looking for a technical reason, they are the last front running team to continue to suffer with bouncing and this might help in that area.
On the other hand, when you look at the races Ferrari won, kerb riding is a strong or reasonably strong factor in lap time at each, there’s a good chance they might be giving up a unique strength with this. Quite a bold move for the last year of a regulation cycle, however it turns out.

It has been rumoured since the middle of the year. A couple of sites have said looks likely for next year, we will wait and see. Not a long wait. Mclaren have done well and Ferrari need to change something if they want to seriously challenge for 2025 title.

As a consequence, Ferrari will use up its four days and 1000km of testing this month to help Hamilton acclimatise to his new team ahead of the 2025 campaign, with a maiden run on the Italian team’s home Fiorano track set to take place on 20 or 21 January depending on the weather.

The new season always comes around quicker than one expects. I do wonder how the teams are coping with 24 races each season, given the travel and timezones involved.
There is the obvious Hamilton interest this year, will he and Ferrari be a good fit. Will be interesting to see what progress is made by the Williams team. Will Norris have addressed the weaknesses that were exposed last year...his starts in particular. Will Redbull be back on form, BTW anyone know what happened to the lady who complained about Horner? Will Russell perform better than Lewis? Who might replace Alonso when the time comes? Of course, many other points of interest too.
