Based on the expression on Torres' face, Drogba's saying "If you miss another chance like that I'm gonna **** you up Ivory Coast style..."

lol you lot should of kept things how they were. Torres has destroyed the harmony. Ancilotti doesnt know which ones to pick. Now all three are struggling.

I bet Torres wants to go to Spain now. Subbing him at half time clearly shows it was Abramovic's buy, like Scheva. It's time Abramovic left the football to the manager.

Clearly shows you still are bitter at losing the best striker in Europe, Carlo is on record as saying Torres was his decision not Romans but enjoy your Thursday nights next year <cool>

We were in disarray before Torres turned up. Obviously there is an issue with Torres and Drogba playing together but ultimately Drogba only has so long left at his age and Torres is the future not a few months in a season we had already blown before he came.

Whether he was roman's signing or not, who turns down the chance to have Torres? Like Suarez and Carrol were Dalglish signings as well!!

Torres will come good next season dont you worry.

Do you lot think the manager will change the formation next season to suit Torres or is it just give Torres time to adjust to Chelseas way of playing?

Went to the match last night, and whilst Torres had a stinker, Anelka and Malouda gave him no service at all, and on occaision even ignored him when he was the clear choice for the pass.

Whilst I admit Torres is obviously not having a great time of it, and dare I admit that I do sometimes question us buying him and who/ why we bought him, 7 players on that pitch last night were worse than ****ing useless so there is more to it than just him.

I think the issue is that you're playing a style a formation that plays to Drogba's strengths, but not to Torres'. If you're gonna get the best out of Torres you need someone who can inluence the game in his favour, like Alonso did at Liverpool. I don't think a midfield of Ramires, Lampard and Essien will ever provide Torres with the consistent through balls he needs to really stretch a defence and score plenty of goals.

    <ok> Agree.
Chelsea end up spending most of the game camped on the oppositions 18 yard line, trying little give and go's.
Whereas, at Liverpool, Gerrard, Agger and mostly Alonso would play the direct ball through to the final third earlier, and from much further out. Chelsea seem to have Torres out wide with his back to goal most of the time.

It's been the chelsea way for years for the strikers to drop deep and hold it up, so new personnel we be needed to change it to suit Torres.

Pretty fair analysis. Im quite shocked at how little chance Torres gets to run onto a thru ball or run at Defenders. At the moment he is having to play with his back to goal and feed off scraps. Drogba is probably the best in the world at this, Torres aint.

However I dont think we are at the shevchenko stage just yet. Sheva had a bad injury then signed for us and had completely lost his pace and edge, Torres Im sure is mainly confidence at the moment. This year is gone, we must now find a way to get this team to function at least 20% better next season. We have a great squad now but probably still lack 1 or 2 really pacey / creative players to open things up in midfield.

Over valued and has had injuries granted...as for the question as to how he ended up bereft of confidence, you'll be best placed to answer that<ok>
